The DC Black Theatre Festival is among the coveted venues for playwrights and stage performers – especially for individuals aspiring to make it big in theatre. Local Playwright, Peachanda Dubose and the cast of her stage play, ‘The Devil Thought He Had Me,’ is gearing up for the prestigious week-long event taking place in Washington, DC in June.  ’COMMUNITY VOICES’ host, Ron Holland talked with Ms. Dubose and a member of her cast, Cedris ”Nuffced” Brown, about the upcoming performance in the nation’s capital. The festival, which will feature over 150 theatrical performances, will also celebrate the giants in black theatre.
