UPDATE: Powerball Jackpot winner Pedro Quezada has paid child support payments dating back to 2009. Quezada told a New Jersey judge Monday that his children will be living with him from now on. Quezada is a father of five children. Quezada has a ‘for sale’ sign on his Passaic bodega and has moved out of his apartment. He could not collect  on his 338-million-dollar winnings until the child support dispute was settled.

The winner of last week’s Powerball Jackpot claims 338-million dollars but owes 29-thousand dollars in back child support payments. 44 year old Pedro Quezada claimed his ticket at Eagles Liquors in Passaic New Jersey beating the odds of 1 in 175 million. Quezada is from the Dominican Republic, a husband and father of five and will appear in a New Jersey courtroom today on the child support delinquency. The New Jersey Lottery says everyone who wins more than 600-dollars is checked for child support and other obligations. The NJ lottery gets 211-million dollars, and child support will be deducted from the final amount Quezada receives in the amout of 152-million dollars.
