In a struggling economy, why is the nine billion dollar hair industry for black women doing fine?
Is it that our sistas are addicted to the weave, hair relaxers, and lace front wigs?
All of these have proven to cause great damage to black women’s hair over time. So why do women feel the need to go with the silky, straight, long look of our European counterparts?
Are they not confident enough with how God has created them? Has society dictated that this is whats attractive?
Take a moment to think about why do you process, relax, cover up, apply heat, blow dry, straighten, your own God given hair. Is that making it more manageable, or is it burning it out over time.
