Last night my phone started blinking; so, naturally I picked it up to check. It was a Facebook notification. I had been tagged in a picture. I didn’t check the pictures until later. They were pictures from 1992-1993 at West Charlotte. I looked at my pictures and started reviewing the others. One was of the football team, which included my then boyfriend. I smiled remembering the cat and mouse innocent love game that we played and that Alicia mentions in her song “A Teenage Love Affair.” I also remembered the rough times that eventually lead to our puppy love demise as told in Slick Rick’s “A Teenage Love.”
So, today’s Flashback Friday video is dedicated to all the teenage loves past and present.
