Nick Mackey Loses Primary
In a primary in which many incumbents won easily, state Rep. Nick Mackey lost his bid for a second term. Challenger Rodney Moore defeated Mackey 62 percent to 38 percent. The vote came one day after the N.C. Board suspended Mackey’s license. Read more about that here: VIA QCITYMETRO.COM
