The NFLPA okayed the NFL owners agreement and Roger Goodell says “Football Is Back.” The players voted to approve the tentative deal after a four and half month lockout. The owners unanimously approved the deal last week. Players said there were still some terms that needed to be ironed out.
“We didn’t get everything that either side wanted … but we did arrive at a deal that we think is fair and balanced,” NFLPA head DeMaurice Smith told ESPN.
According to ESPN teams could start signing 2011 draft picks and rookie free agents Tuesday, and teams could report to camp on Wednesday.
