Tami called up TT Torrez to chit chat after the premiere of the season opener for “Basketball Wives.” Tami discussed her feelings on Evelyn making the “non-m**** f**** factor” t-shirts, the new wife (Meeka Claxton), the negative backlash of “Basketball Wives,” and more.

Highlights:

First TT had to get some things off her chest. TT asked Tami to hit Royce up and ask her why her publicist is denying her access to the show when her publicist reached out to HER  for Royce to come on the show. She also said she doesn’t like how Royce is “getting Hollywood.”

On Evelyn making the “non-m**** f**** factor” t-shirts:

Tami said she felt that Evelyn could have picked another saying to capitalize on instead of using that one especially with the negative situation attached to it.

On the new “wife” Meeka Claxton:

Tami and TT discuss how Meeka was more so a “Shaunie-Evelyn-and-Jennifer groupie.” Tami said she hunted everyone down to be on the show; no one reached out to her. Tami said she never got a chance to really know her because she was too busy trying to be everything for everybody.

On if she’ll be chin checking any of the other “wives” this season:

Tami said she’s now working on her temper. She said she may need some anger management because when she’s pushed to a certain level, her hands start swinging and she loses control.

On Sherri Shepherd’s negatively tweeting about “Basketball Wives”:

Tami said she feels she has to respond to people’s negative comments because reality TV isn’t fully representative of what they stand for. The producers don’t show the good that they do but rather their flaws are driving the show.

On her “ungraded” look:

She said she was always relatively fly but she said she got to a point where she just really didn’t care. She was working a 9-5, raising her kids so she kind of put herself aside. She’s now back to the person she’s always been.

On her lawsuit against Evelyn:

She said since addressed it on the show she wants us to watch to see it unfold.
