Oprah has a sister named Patricia — who was put up for adoption at a young age and bounced around foster homes until she was finally adopted at the age of 7. On Monday, Facebook and Twitter were abuzz with Oprah fans talking about the show and the family reunion. What did you think?

There are not a lot of people that wouldn’t have tried to make some money if they were in the same position. I do think her mom was embarrassed. But this story definitely sheds light on how family secrets will eventually come out. I pray the best for them all as it is a lot to process.”
Krystle Maisha It was AMAZING. That was the most open I have ever seen Oprah. She is always so private about her personal life, like beyond life with Steadman, Gayle, and luxury. She just reminded all her viewers that she is a real person.
