This clip came from our friends at Hot 107.9. Apparently a school in Illinois put on a production of “Scarface” starring children.
“Jaydon’s school put on a kids production of Scarface,” is the only information posted about the clip on YouTube, which was put up by someone claiming to be a 38-year-old mother named Cindy from the town of Bartonville, Illinois. The clip re-enacts the violent and bloody finale of the iconic movie, according to Hot 107.9.
The kids obviously enjoyed themselves during the play, and got into their roles. I’m not sure they would have had this type of enthusiasm for “Romeo & Juliet.” Plus, I’m sure the lesson plan included lengthy discussions about the evils of guns, drugs and misogyny. Or maybe I’m dreaming.
