I have never been a huge LisaRaye fan. I mean, I liked her in “The Player’s Club,” but that was where it ended. Until today. I was catching up on my magazine reading and read a promo piece in “Essence” on LisaRaye’s new TV One show – LisaRaye: The Real McCoy. I feel in love with her spirit after reading her response to people’s thoughts on her being a gold digger:
“Honey, I was digging for gold in high school; I’m past platinum now! [Laughs] I hope your momma told you to get with someone who can take care of himself so he can take care of you and what you’re bringing to the table. That should be the definition of digging.”
